Write for us: terms and conditions

Last updated 24 October 2026. These terms apply to every pitch and article sent to Tuvvo, together with our general terms of use. "We" means BizFay, which runs Tuvvo.

1. Sending a pitch

Sending a pitch or draft does not mean we will publish it. We reply to every pitch and article, and when we can't publish it we tell you what to improve. A score of 90 or more on our article check lets you send an article; it is not a promise to publish, because an editor reads every piece first. Nothing is agreed until we confirm it by email.

2. Original work only

Your article must be your own, original and unpublished, and must not appear anywhere else, in full or in part, before or after we publish it. Rewritten, spun or translated copies of other articles are not accepted.

AI-written content is not accepted. You may use tools to check spelling and grammar, but the ideas, words, research and data must be yours. We check submissions and may remove an article later if it turns out to break this rule.

3. Research, data and sources

Research must be your own: tests you ran, measurements you took, surveys you conducted or data you collected. Share your method, sample size and dates so readers can trust it.

Any number or fact from someone else must link to its original source. Do not make up, guess or "improve" data. You confirm that survey answers were collected with the people's consent and contain no personal details.

4. Images and infographics

Send only photos, screenshots, charts and infographics that you made or have written permission to use, with the credit line the owner asks for. You confirm that people shown in photos agreed to it. We may resize, crop or compress images to fit the site.

5. Topics

We publish only articles about phones and phone life in India, in the topics listed on the Write for us page. Articles about unrelated subjects, or with gambling, crypto, forex, loans, adult, CBD or other unrelated content, are not accepted.

6. Links

Links must help the reader and point to relevant, trustworthy pages. Our editors review every link and may remove or change any of them, or decide how they are marked, in line with Google's guidelines. Links to outside sites in guest articles are marked rel="nofollow ugc" unless our editors decide otherwise. Links are never accepted in the pitch form's text boxes, only in its link fields. We never promise links, rankings, traffic or other results.

7. Honesty and conflicts of interest

Tell us if you work for, are paid by, or have any link to a brand, store or product in your article. We may add a note to the article saying so. Reviews must reflect your real experience.

8. Editing

We edit for accuracy, clarity, length and our house style, and may change the title, headings and images. We fact-check claims and may ask you for your raw data. We may update the article later to keep it correct, and may unpublish it at any time.

9. Rights

You keep the copyright in your article. When we publish it, you give BizFay a worldwide, permanent, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, update, translate, share and promote it in any format, including in the Tuvvo app and on social media. Because the article must be exclusive to Tuvvo, please don't republish it elsewhere; you are welcome to share a link to it.

You confirm that you have the right to give this licence and that the article does not break anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights, or any Indian law. You agree to cover our costs if a claim is made because these promises were not true.

10. Your name and bio

We publish articles with your name and a short bio. You may ask us to correct your bio at any time.

11. Your details

We keep the name, email and pitch you send in a private Google Sheet, only to review your pitch and reply to you. We don't sell it or add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete it at any time by email. See our privacy notice.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
