Editorial policy
Buying a phone is a big spend, so you should know exactly how our advice is made. These are the rules every Tuvvo page follows.
By the Tuvvo team. Last updated 18 October 2026.
Who writes Tuvvo
- Every page is written and checked by the Tuvvo team, published by BizFay, an Indian company.
- We haven't tested most phones in hand yet, and every phone page says so. Our scores come from published reviews and lab tests, which we list under Sources on each phone's page.
Where our facts come from
- Specs and launch dates come from the brand's own announcement or product page, checked against at least one major review.
- Prices are the official Indian price for the base model, checked every day, and re-checked in full every Monday. A store's sale price can be lower; we show our own tracked history so you can judge.
- Software update promises come from the brand's published policy. When a brand hasn't said, we say that instead of guessing.
- Upcoming phones are marked Confirmed, Likely or Rumour, so a leak is never shown as a fact.
Money never changes a ranking
- No brand or store can pay to be listed, ranked higher or reviewed more kindly.
- Some store buttons earn Tuvvo a small commission if you buy. They appear only after the advice, are labelled, and the same phone ranks in the same place whether or not it has a store link.
- Guides rank by fixed rules you can read in How we score. A phone that is worse for you is never pushed because it pays more.
We tell you who should skip a phone
- Every phone page lists who should buy it and who should skip it, and its biggest catch. A recommendation you can trust has to include the no.
- When a newer model is due soon, or a phone costs more than its lowest tracked price, we tell you to wait.
How we use AI
- Wise, our phone helper, uses AI to answer questions. It is told to use Tuvvo's own checked data first, and its answers can still be wrong, so check anything important.
- We use AI tools to help gather daily prices and launch news and to draft pages. Every fact is tied to an official or published source, and rankings come only from the fixed rules in How we score.
Fixing mistakes
- If you spot a wrong price, spec or claim, tell us and we fix it as soon as we can. Each phone page shows when its data was last checked.
